NSIC technologically reinforces city managers in the development and concretion of urban infrastructure operations for informal settlements in order to be viable in short – medium term, the physical and emotional integration of these urban areas to the overall structure of the city and to reduce environmental, economic and social accumulated deficits over the years. To do this we focus our efforts on the development of consensual integrated projects of different scale and type in the field of energy infrastructure and urban services logistics, recovery of public space and progressive improvement, sustainable and viable and efficient for substandard housing.
Considering the different forms of ownership and land tenure coexisting in informal urban settlements, NSIC promotes joint participation of local government structures and civil society in order to generate the maximum possible consensus in decision-making processes related to qualitative improvement of the urban physical environment identifying those opportunities that the implementation of urban projects may mean, directly or indirectly to the improvement of the community’s welfare and creating new sources of wealth for the Municipal Finance in the horizon of progressive urban development economically sustainable socially inclusive and environmentally friendly.
We implement local Governments with technical and technologically development of integrated planning for implementation, adaptation and management of water infrastructure supply, sanitation and urban informal settlements treatment addressing the particular physical, social and environmental planning, growth expectations sustainable in the context of local economic development and the willingness of local Governments, business and civil society to create greater efficiency in the management of water resources.
We implement local Governments with technical and technologically local governments industry and civil society in the development of solutions aimed at ensuring sustainable management socially responsible and environmentally sustainable integrated waste cycle informal for urban settlements, linking the wealth creation opportunities, workplace risk reduction and a substantial improvement in efficiency during the phases of collection, transportation, processing, treatment and recycling of household waste and production areas. We investigated and promote with local governments industry and civil society to deploy strategic action programs technology-based aimed at promoting the realization viable public policy infrastructure investment renewable energy uptake in order to ensure in the near future full energy independence and the efficient use of resources from the existent and future productive and domestic spaces . In this sense, NSIC involves energy managers in achieving network energy efficiency improvements through technology-based use in transmission, distribution and energy management phases. We strengthen local governments and private sector in the development of planning, implementation and management of viable and efficient new telecommunications networks that must enable the democratization of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) inside urban informal settlements. In this sense, NSIC considers fundamental the deployment of telecommunications to ensure community access to global knowledge and thus to propose new ways of processes aimed at strengthening the economy, social and human progress. We promote, in coordination with local governments, regional, public and private sector, the implementation of technological services aimed to streamlining mobility in public space, in order to improve energy and environmental efficiency of city and intercity mobility, and strengthen relationships between daily production and residential areas to help structure informal urban settlements with consolidated city and territory.Integral water cycle
